Welcome to St. James Anglican Church, A place for Worship, Caring, Learning and Fun.

And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day  approaching

Hebrews 10:24-25 (NRSV)

Window #6      TRIO OF WINDOWS DEPICTING THE VIRGIN MARY, JESUS AND DORCAS

These three windows portray the virgin Mary, mother roof Jesus.  The central and most important window is Jesus - The way, the truth and life.  And the figure on the right is Dorcas.  Dorcas lived in Joppa and was a believer.  She was noted for her hand word and sewing and to this day many Women's Church groups are "Dorcas Societies".  For the full story on Dorcas, see 'Acts Ch. 9 V. 36-43.
